YG Entertainment reportedly preparing BLACKPINK's sister group!

On June 28, YG released the new girl group BLACKPINK consisting of 4 members - Jennie Kim, Rose, Lisa, and Jisoo.

Fans are thrilled to finally see YG's new girl group, however, some portrayed disappointment at the small amount of members as many expected a total of 7 to 9 members.

According to OSEN, the label is planning to present Black Pink's sister group in the same year! It was reported, "Originally, the group had 9 members, but Yang Hyung Suk changed the number to 4. His exact thoughts are unknown, but there are 5 more trainees left. It seems like Black Pink are setting the start to YG's new girl groups."

It's also assumed that YG is preparing a format similar to iKON and WINNER with their new girl groups.
