‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ Surpasses 50 Million Views in 7 Episodes… Continued Rising Trend

YG's BLACKPINK’s first reality program, ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ set another milestone by surpassing 50 million views, thanks to the love from the public.

As of February 19, 11 AM, ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ surpassed a total of 50 million accumulated views in YouTube and Naver V LIVE.

This happened in a total of 7 episodes, 43 days and 14 hours since its first release. The new record proves BLACKPINK’s popularity among the public. BLACKPINK’s global popularity was also proven through the high rank position of ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ in foreign Naver V LIVE charts, especially countries in Asia including Japan, China, and Taiwan.

The new record was possible due to BLACKPINK’s hard work and efforts to get closer to the fans through the reality show, away from their previous mysticism. The fans showed continuous support as the episodes went on, since BLACKPINK revealed various charms previously unknown by the public.

Members of BLACKPINK shared their tastes and preferences in the 7th episode. JISOO and JENNIE visited a retro roller skating rink and created special memories. ROSÉ and LISA displayed their archery skills while passionately competing each other, gathering attention from the viewers.

BLACKPINK previously stated that they will reveal a special event for the fans if the view count of ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ reaches 88 million views. After their announcement of the event, the view count is heading towards 88 million views at a fast pace.

‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ was created with the concept in which members of BLACKPINK spend a 100-day vacation in a newly built accommodation near Hongdae, Seoul. As the show was created with beautiful visuals and luxury formatting, it presents more to see than just simple fun and laughter

‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’ pre-releases every Saturday at 9 PM through YouTube and VLIVE, while the full version airs every Sunday at 10 AM through JTBC2.
