The first teaser image of girl group BLACKPINK’s JENNIE has been unveiled, to draw keen attention.
On June 16 in the morning, YG Entertainment released JENNIE’s teaser poster on the company’s official blog, before BLACKPINK’s comeback scheduled for June 22.
In the teaser poster, JENNIE in red shirt and twin tail hair is looking into the front, making a chic facial expression. JENNIE who used to have an image of an innocent girl now catches the eyes with more intense visual and eye expression.
JENNIE already stood under a big spotlight before her official debut, for her featuring performance for G-DRAGON’s album. After her debut as BLACKPINK, JENNIE left a strong impression with her outstanding talent in rapping, vocal, and dance, as well as her cute but powerful performances.
Even though it has been less than a year since BLACKPINK’s debut, the team is writing an unbelievable record of 100 million views on YouTube with their debut song “WHISTLE” and “BOOMBAYAH”, as well as “PLAYING WITH FIRE”. BLACKPINK took No.1 in TV music shows with every song they released and swept the rookie of the year awards of music festivals last year, to rise as the most promising rookie girl group in Korea.
BLACKPINK will come back to the music scene of Korea on June 22 to actively present themselves to Korean fans. Then, BLACKPINK will make an official debut in Japan. After hosting showcase “BLACKPINK PREMIUM DEBUT SHOWCASE” at Budokan in Japan on July 20, BLACKPINK will release their official debut album in Japan on August 9.
