YG's girl group BLACKPINK is giving a special present to fans in celebration of the release of their new song “As If It’s Your Last”, which is an ice cream truck.
On June 29 at 11 AM, girl group BLACKPINK announced news of their fan service event with ice cream truck, on their official social media channel. BLACKPINK prepared the event to reward fans’ great support for them.
The event will be held on July 1 between 7 and 8 PM, at BLACKPINK pop-up store opened in the Hongdae area. BLACKPINK members will express their gratitude for fans by giving ice cream out from a truck to every fan who comes to the event, just like the “JENNIE ice cream” scene in the music video.
Fans who receive coupons at BLACKPINK pop-up store to be open for three days from today (June 29) at 2 PM until July 1 at 6 PM and fans who visit TV music shows to cheer for BLACKPINK will be invited to the ice cream event.
As BLACKPINK has already announced their plans for active communication with fans, BLACKPINK will have special time with their fans in diverse events including their first autographing event and then the ice cream event.
BLACKPINK came back to the music scene on June 22 with new song “As If It’s Your Last” and swept No.1 on music charts in and out of the country upon their comeback. BLACKPINK also took No.1 on Billboard’s world digital song sales chart, No.1 on iTunes singles charts of 18 countries, and new songs chart and MV chart of QQ Music, enjoying explosive popularity overseas as well.
BLACKPINK has been actively presenting themselves to the public by appearing in TV music shows, entertainment shows, and radio shows. BLACKPINK will host their first-ever autographing event on July 2.
