[HOT] BLACKPINK Confirmed to Make Comeback in June… Finished Recording and Will Schedule MV Shooting


YG Girl group BLACKPINK(JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA) will make comeback on June.
According to an exclusive coverage by Star News on May 4, BLACKPINK has confirmed their comeback on June. They have completed recording all songs and are scheduling the MV shooting.

Since the MV shooting, the final stage of releasing a new album, will happen on May, it is expected that BLACKPINK will make comeback on early to mid-June. It will be their comeback in 1 year and 2 months since they released ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ last year on April, and the people are paying keen attention to the new milestone BLACKPINK will set through their upcoming album.


BLACKPINK has over 200 million views on all title song MVs they’ve ever released, including their debut song ‘WHISTLE’(400M), ‘BOOMBAYAH’(800M), ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’(700M), ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’(700M), ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’(1.1B), ‘Kill This Love’(800M), and JENNIE’s solo track ‘SOLO’(400M).

In addition to the 8 MVs, they are the only girl group to hold a total of 18 videos with over 100 million views including dance practice videos and music broadcast contents.

They also became the first-ever K-Pop group to surpass 1.1 billion views with their MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’.  Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has also raised the status of K-Pop by participating on track no. 10 titled ‘Sour Candy’ as featuring artists on Lady Gaga’s 6th official album titled ‘Chromatica’. Ariana Grande and Elton John, who represent the history and current trend of Pop and have also participated on Lady Gaga’s album as featuring artists.
