BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ Wins 5 Crowns on China’s QQ Music… Proves Massive Popularity

YG's girl Group BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ won 5 crowns on QQ Music, which is China’s largest music platform.
According to the chart results announced today (21st) by QQ Music, BLACKPINK proved their massive popularity in China by topping the Comprehensive New Releases Chart, Popularity Index Chart, KPOP Weekly Chart, Comprehensive MV Chart, and the KPOP MV Chart.

BLACKPINK also successfully lined up songs ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, ‘FOREVER YOUNG’, and ‘REALLY’ from 1st to 3rd place, on the KPOP Weekly Chart of QQ Music.

After releasing their new song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ on the 15th, BLACKPINK’s popularity in China is rising day by day, helping them maintain their no. 1 spot on the Comprehensive MV Chart and the KPOP MV Chart for 6 consecutive days.


Furthermore, the title song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ from BLACKPINK’s first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’ is maintaining its ‘all-kill’ status in major Korean music charts for 7 days.

The MV for the song surpassed 10 million views in the first 6 hours, 20 million views in 13 hours, 30 million views in 23 hours, 40 million views in 27 hours, 50 million views in 5 0hours, 60 million views in 82 hours, and 70 million views in 120 hours, sweeping all pre-existing records held by K-Pop girl groups.

While setting new records and milestones every day, BLACKPINK will hold a fan signing event on the 23rd at 7 PM to celebrate the release of ‘SQUARE UP’ at Soundwave Goyang located in Goyang-si, Gyeonggido.
